By Air
The nearest airport to Kasar Devi is Pantnagar Airport, which is 120 km from goSTOPS. You may reach the hostel directly from here by taking a cab (recommended) which costs INR 2000-2500. Buses are also available from Pantnagar to Almora and from there you may hire a cab to cover the remainder of your 8 km journey.

Train
Kathgodam Railway Station is the nearest railhead and is 88 km from goSTOPS Kasar Devi. Plenty of trains connect Kathgodam with Delhi and other parts of India. You may reach the hostel by hiring a cab (recommended) which costs INR 3000. Buses are also available from Kathgodam to Almora, but you will have to cover the remaining journey via taxi.
By Bus
Regular buses ply to and fro Almora (5 km from Kasar Devi) from major cities including Delhi, Lucknow, Dehradun and Kathgodam.
Delhi: A bus usually takes 11-12 hours for the 373 km journey.
Kathgodam: A bus from here takes around 2 hours to cover the 83 km stretch.
Lucknow: Almora is 446 km from here and a bus takes 12-13 hours.
Dehradun: A bus usually takes around 10-11 hours to cover the 395 km journey.
The buses take you to 1 deboarding point, Almora bus stand which is 5 km from goSTOPS hostel and you may take a cab which costs around INR 250.
If coming by own vehicle, the nearest landmark is "NTD colony/women police station". One can use this location for navigation.
