October-February: Srinagar is best visited in winter, specifically from December to February. During this time, the city undergoes a magical transformation with snow adorning the landscapes. It offers an ideal opportunity to witness snowfall, engage in skiing adventures, and appreciate the tranquil beauty of Dal Lake.

By Air

By Train

The nearest major railway station to Srinagar is Jammu Tawi Railway Station, located in Jammu, which is approximately 300 kms away from Srinagar. From Jammu, you can take a taxi or bus to reach Srinagar. The journey from Jammu to Srinagar usually takes around 5-7 hours.

By Bus
