Kochi International Airport has regular flights connecting major cities. Three stations serve Kochi, among which the largest and perhaps the busiest one is the Ernakulam Junction South. Trains are a cheap and easy mode of travel. Major South Indian cities have buses plying to Kochi. You can also drive to Kochi as the National Highways and connecting roads ensure a smooth drive.

By Bus
If you are coming from Alleppey, you can take a KSRTC bus from Alleppey Bus Stop that can drop you till Thoppumpady (in Kochi). Thoppumpady is the nearest bus stop if you want to go to Fort Kochi. The ticket will cost you around INR 50. Ensure that there is someone to help you with reading signboards on buses as everything is written in Malayalam.
