  • Accommodation- Stay is included from Day 1 to Day 5 (Joshimath to Joshimath). You will be staying in hotels/guesthouses on triple/quad sharing basis.
  • Meals- Dinner at Joshimath on Day 1 to breakfast at Joshimath on Day 6 are included. We provide simple vegetarian food on all days of the trek.
  • Accommodations on sharing basis as per itinerary.

The Valley of Flowers Trek, Uttarakhand Package Excludes:

  • Valley of Flowers entry fees.
  • Any additional expenses such as personal nature/medical emergency.
  • Additional accommodation/food costs incurred due to any delayed travel.
  • Any lunch and other meals not mentioned in package inclusions.
  • Any airfare/rail fare other than what is mentioned in inclusions or any type of transportation from which is outside the itinerary.
  • Additional costs due to flight cancellations, landslides, roadblocks, and other natural calamities or delays.
  • Since Valley of Flowers is a monsoon trek, there are possibilities of roadblocks due to landslides. Account for this by adding a buffer day in your travel plan.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • If cancellation are made 30 days before the date of travel then 25.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees
  • If cancellation are made 15 days to 30 days before the date of travel then 50.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees
  • If cancellation are made 0 days to 15 days before the date of travel then 100.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees
  • The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days.

It is a 6-day trek. Accommodation will be in the hotel on all the days on quad/triple sharing basis, according to the availability.
The best suited shoes for this trek route are the ones that are breathable and light in weight. Also, ankle support is also a very important thing to take care of while buying the perfect pair of shoes. You can go for brands like- Decathlon, Wildcraft, Quechua, etc. In the winters, you’ll require gators or gumboots which you can rent from the Joshimath.
The nearest railway station from Joshimath is Rishikesh Railway station which is 250 km away from there and is well connected with the major destinations like Lucknow, Calcutta, Delhi, etc.
The maximum altitude that you’ll climb during this trek is 14,107 ft. You’ll be able to witness many exotic and rare Himalayan Flora and fauna on this trekking trail.
The trek to Valley of Flowers is moderately difficult. A person must be in good physical and mental state for doing this trek.
No, such activities are not advisable during the trek. In the Valley of Flowers trekking package, you will be trekking at higher altitude areas where your body needs more oxygen so if you drink and smoke then there will be adverse effects on your health and it may lead to you in serious health condition.
Usually, we take 20-24 people in one batch including males and females. We need a minimum of 6 people for a fixed departure, but for the customized trip, the group size doesn’t matter.

While the summers here are a bit scorching, the valley is best known for its spring season. Whereas Valley of Flowers in winter can be really chilly due to its height, which can act as a spoilsport for various different activities. Hence is not advisable.
Our treks are planned with a male: female ratio. As an organizer, we make sure that their rooms are shared only with other female trekkers.
The trail difficulty level towards Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib is moderately difficult. Good physical and mental fitness is expected to complete the trek.
The trek is led by professional trek leaders who have completed basic and advanced mountaineering courses. There will be one guide who leads the group and another guide who will be walking at the end of the group making sure of the safety of the whole group.
Beyond the base location there will be no network connectivity. Only BSNL network will be there on the base location. So it is advisable to be prepared well for the same.
All the members of support staff are certified in wilderness first aid and are trained for all concerns related to high altitude. The staff will be carrying a first aid kit to ensure the maximum safety of the trekkers.
The total trek distance covering in this package would be 47 km in the span of 5 Nights and 6 Days.
Follow all the instructions from your guides. The stay will be in hotels on double/triple/quad sharing so one must not expect any luxuries. The climatic conditions in the mountains can change from time to time, so please pack your bags accordingly.
Of course, you can visit Hemkund Sahib on your trek to Valley of Flowers. It is a must visit attraction. It is one of the most revered Sikh Shrines. Hemkund Sahib is the world’s highest gurudwara situated at a height of 14107 ft.
It starts to open in the beginning of June till mid October. Rest of the year it stays covered in snow. Hence monsoon is the best time to go for this trek.
