Day 0: Departure from Delhi

  • Start your Uttarakhand tour from Delhi at night.

Day 1: Arrival at Nainital | Sightseeing

  • Upon arrival in Nainital, complete the check in formalities and freshen up.
  • Later, get ready to visit the famous attractions of Nainital.
  • Visit Naina Devi temple, where according to a mythology the eyes of Goddess Sati fell after her self-immolation.
  • Visit the famous Tiffin top - the second highest peak in Nainital. Also known as Dorothy’s seat offers a magnificent 360-degree view of the town and surrounding hilly area.
  • The next stop is Cave garden offering a majestic view of 6 caves formed in the shape of animals.
  • Later in the evening, enjoy a stunning sunset while boating at Naini Lake and spend some time exploring the Mall road.

Day 2: Nainital sightseeing

  • After breakfast, you will head towards the mesmerizing Sattal Lake which is around 22 km and an hour away from Nainital.
  • Located at an altitude of 1,370 meters, Sattal Lake sits below lush orchards among the dense forests of oak and pine trees.
  • After exploring the beautiful landscapes of Sattal including Butterfly Museum and Methodist Ashram, you can enjoy a bit of adventure time at the lake with Kayaking (at your own expense).
  • The next stop will be Bhimtal and Naukuchiatal. Also known as the lake of nine corners, Naukuchiatal is the deepest of all the lakes in the Nainital region.
  • You can try parasailing, paragliding, fishing, rowing, yachting, etc here (at your own expense).
  • Return by evening. Overnight stay at the hostel.

Day 3: Mukteshwar sightseeing

  • After breakfast, check out from the hostel and leave for Mukteshwar.
  • Upon arrival, check in to the hostel- goSTOPS Mukteshwar and freshen up.
  • Later, get ready to visit Mukteshwar Temple which is said to be built by the pandavas during the 12 years of their exile life.
  • Next stop is Bhalu Gaad Waterfall and Chauli Ki Jali. After spending some time here, get back to the hostel.
  • Explore the locality in the evening.
  • Overnight stay at the hostel.

Day 4: Kasar Devi Arrival | Local Sightseeing 

  • Wake up early and post breakfast, head for Kasar Devi via Almora.
  • Enroute, take a brief stop at Almora and explore Govind Ballabh Pant Government Museum, Nanda Devi Temple(Almora), Dwarahat village, Deer Park and other famous places in Almora.
  • Later, continue the journey toward Kasar Devi; upon arrival check in the hostel and freshen up. 
  • Evening is free for leisure you can stroll around the hippie alleys of  of Kasar Devi while enjoying the beautiful views of snow capped mountain all around.
  • Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Local Sightseeing | Departure

  • After breakfast in the morning visit the Kasar Devi temple - it is said to date back to the 2nd century. Swami Vivekanand is said to have visited this place in 1890’s and meditated here for days.
  • Enjoy the mesmerizing view of the valley, rivers and town from this beautiful location.
  • Interact with the locals and get to know about the story behind the temple from locals.
  • In the evening we will depart back to Delhi. Reach Delhi the next morning with beautiful trip memories.
