The Seed Programme

TRANSMISSIONS – The Seed Programme, is an initiative by Lightcube Film Society in collaboration with goStops for showcasing visual expressions, ready to rock the cinematic hiatus presently prevalent in the rural and sub-urban societies of India and abroad. It aims at transmitting the true and the raw form of cinema to the masses through visual education culturally and economically.

The volunteers in this programme will spend 1 month in Dalhousie, Himachal Pradesh. They will be provided with a great opportunity to interact, and share insights on some enlightening films, with the locals and nurture their possibilities in filmmaking.

In a duration of one month, you get to watch, discuss and document some breathtaking films ever made. You also get to interview and record the interaction with the locals of many remote villages in and around Dalhousie. The programme intends to enhance your skill set through creative cultural exchange and screening of the realities of the society at the grass root level.
