About the Triund Trek

The Triund Trek is one of the shortest and easiest Himalayan treks, offering spectacular views of the snow-covered Dhauladhar Range and the Kangra Valley.
This 2-day trek is perfect for a weekend getaway and ideal for beginners. Though short, the trail includes a few steep sections that add a touch of adventure while allowing you to experience the serenity and beauty of the Himalayas.

Itinerary

Day 1: McLeodganj – Triund (2,875 m)

Distance: 9 km
Route: Dharamkot → Galu Temple
Meeting Point: Bhagsunag
Meeting Time: 9:45 AM

• Start the trek via Dharamkot and Galu Temple

• Steep ascent through forests of oak, rhododendron, and deodar (approx. 4 hours)

• Halt at Magic View Café, a popular refreshment and photo stop

• Final 45 minutes include 22 sharp turns, making the trail more engaging

• Reach Triund, an alpine meadow on a ridge

• Enjoy stunning views of the Dhauladhar peaks on one side and Kangra Valley on the other

• Check in to camps

• Dinner and overnight stay at Triund

Day 2: Triund – Snowline – Triund – Bhagsunag

Distance: 14 km

• • Early morning to witness a spectacular sunrise over the mountains

  • Breakfast at Triund

  • Trek to Snowline, offering close views of Laka Glacier and Dhauladhar peaks

  • Return to Triund

  • Lunch at Triund (at own expense)

  • Descend via a different route to Bhagsunag

  • Downhill trek of 3–4 hours

  • Visit Bhagsunag Waterfall en route

  • Trek ends at Bhagsunag

  • Proceed to your next destination

• Free cancellation up to 24 hours prior to the experience date.

• No refund for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the experience.

• If the supplier cancels due to weather or operational reasons, a full refund or an alternate date will be offered (as per supplier policy and availability).

• Refunds will be initiated within 24–48 hours and credited within 5–7 working days.

• No refund or rescheduling for no-shows.
