Experience serene kayaking through Pondicherry’s lush mangrove forests in two-seater kayaks. Guided by trained experts, enjoy a safe, immersive journey with insights into the unique ecosystem. Before setting out, guests receive full instructions and a safety briefing, ensuring a smooth and enriching adventure amidst nature’s tranquility.

 

What You will Experience:

Duration: 30-40 minutes

Time slot availability:   6 am - 6 pm (30-40 minutes slot)

Important Note: Guests can select any time slot between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM; however, there is a higher chance of slot changes due to high tide in the region. As exact timing cannot be confirmed in advance, guests are kindly requested to keep buffer time for this experience.

Eligibility: 

• Physical Fitness: Basic fitness and mobility required; participants should be able to paddle

• Swimming Skills: Not mandatory (life jackets are provided)

• Weight Limit: Usually up to 90-100 kg per person

• Health Conditions: Not suitable for individuals with serious back, heart, or mobility issues

• Pregnancy: Not recommended for pregnant women

What to Bring for Mangrove Kayaking:

• Sunscreen

• Cap or hat

• Water bottle

• Towel

• Dry, synthetic clothing (quick-dry preferred)

• Avoid carrying valuables – please keep them safely at property

 

Critical Notes:

• Fixed time slots are not available, as timings may change due to high tides. Guests are advised to keep sufficient buffer time in hand.

• The meeting location is 17 km from goSTOPS Auroville, and transfers are not included. Please ensure that you arrange your own transportation.
• Since slots are limited and booking closes after checkout, we recommend securing your spot in advance.

• This experience is subject to weather and seasonal conditions. In case of unfavourable weather or safety concerns, it may be cancelled with prior notice. A full refund or an alternate experience will be offered.

• If your experience is scheduled on your checkout day and may extend beyond the checkout time, we kindly request you to check out in advance and leave your luggage at the reception.

• This experience is exclusively available to goSTOPS guests; outside participants are not permitted.

• Guests are advised to keep buffer time while planning any experience.

 

Confirmation Policy

• Booking will be confirmed immediately if there is no minimum participant requirement or availability issue.

• For all bookings, the operator’s details will be shared 24 hours prior to the experience.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Free cancellation is allowed up to 24 hours prior to the experience date.

• No refund will be provided for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the experience.

• If the supplier cancels due to weather or operational issues, a full refund or an alternate date will be offered (subject to the supplier’s policy and availability).

• Refunds will be initiated within 24–48 hours of cancellation and credited within 5–7 working days.

• No refund or rescheduling will be provided for no-shows.

• For experiences with a minimum requirement of 2, 4, or 5 participants (as mentioned in the critical notes), the activity may be cancelled if the minimum number of participants is not met. In such cases, prior notice will be given, and a full refund will be issued within 5–7 working days.
