One of the best and most convenient ways to reach Kasol is by taking a bus. Both private and government buses run regularly from Delhi and Chandigarh. Following are the two ways to reach Kasol by bus: 

Direct bus to Kasol: There are many direct buses from Delhi to Kasol covering a distance of 530 km in about 12- 13 hours. You can also take a bus from Chandigarh which covers 300 km in about 8.5 hours. 

Bus to Bhuntar and then to Kasol: You can take a direct bus to Manali and deboard at Bhuntar (Bhuntar bus stand). This is 492 km from Delhi and 260 Km from Chandigarh. From here you can board a local bus to Kasol and cover a distance of 31 km in about 1 hour. 

Both the buses drop you off at two main deboarding points both within walking distance from the hostel.
