Regular bus services ply to and fro Bir. They operate on a daily basis, day and night, from places like Delhi, Shimla and Dharamshala.

Direct buses from Delhi: Bir is around 12-14 hours by Bus from Delhi. The buses take you to Bir road or the bus stand near the Tibetan colony.

Buses from Pathankot: Jump on any bus for Kangra, Dharamshala, Baijnath, Mandi, Manali or Shimla.

From Dharamshala: Bir is around 4-5 hours away from Dharamshala. There are only a few direct buses from Dharamshala to Bir. You may take a bus to Baijnath and then travel to Bir.

Buses take you to Bir road or bus stand near Tibetan colony

From Baijnath: One can cover the last leg from Baijnath via bus or taxi. It will take around 20-30 minutes and the taxi will cost around INR 250. One can either take a direct bus from Baijnath to Bir or take any bus heading east towards Jogindernagar, Mandi, Manali or Shimla. Buses go to Bir every 30 minutes.

Buses from Baijnath will either take you to Bir Road or bus stand near Tibetan colony

• Bus stand to goSTOPS Bir: It is less than a km from our hostel. Private taxis will cost around INR 100. 

• Bir road to goSTOPS Bir: Bir road is at a distance of 3 km from our hostel. Private taxis will cost around INR 150.
