Overview

Dayara Bugyal Trek passes through open land and thick forests at various places, ending up at the huge expanse of a lush green carpeted meadow. It reflects the hoop-shaped greenery, dotted with dark oak and maple woods all around while giving a glimpse of sparkling snow-laden peaks of Bandarpoonch and a few others. With verdant valleys, shining streams, and blooming flora, Dayara Bugyal makes for one of the most beautiful Himalayan treks. And while you are there, take a walk through the fields of Dayara while sipping on a hot cup of tea. Or coffee, whatever you like.

The most exciting part of the trip is the fourth day when you reach Dayara top. The elevation takes you to the confluence of many adjacent grasslands including the Gidara Bugyal. You will also find a clean trail to Dodital— a freshwater lake that is the origin of Assi Ganga.

During summers, the vast meadows are soaked with yellow wildflowers. After all of the paradisiacal liveliness, the snow-laden peaks, and the breathtaking sunrise from Dayara top will leave you spellbound. Dayara Bugyal Trek is an excellent choice for beginners, offering a lot of opportunities to capture nature as an absolute delight.
